The environmental policy of the Donit Tesnit, d.o.o. Company from Medvode, Slovenia, remains a solid basis for continuous improvement in the efficient prevention of pollution in the working and broader environment in order to provide a healthy and safe habitat for the current as well as future generations.
Because of their significance, the environmental policy, attention paid to occupational health and safety, and responsible conduct within the society represent integral parts of the company's management policy designed to create value for shareholders, employees and citizens.
We have committed ourselves to:
- Include environmental protection in our development strategy, annual and operative plans with predefined measures, assets, holders, contractors and deadlines in order to reduce the impact on the environment
- Monitor and measure emissions and environmental aspects as well as take appropriate action in case of any deviations
- Improve the practical application of environmental protection measures with regard to environmental regulations
- Use such technology, materials and elements that meet domestic and international environmental standards
- Ensure a reduction in the amount of waste and to try to provide an optimum use of energy resources
- Educate, train and encourage employees for raising their environmental awareness
Our primary objectives are:
- To reduce the amount of hazardous waste
- Separate collection of waste, waste recycling and reducing the amount of waste intended for disposal
- Effective use of energy products, raw materials and natural resources
- Replacing hazardous materials with materials of a less hazardous nature

The main objective of the Donit Tesnit, d.o.o. Company is to continue catering to requirements and exceeding the expectations of our customers as well as to systematically increase the level of their satisfaction. This allows us to retain our customer base as well as to grow and make progress together with the development of their business, while at the same time acquiring new customers and, in this way, ensuring long-term business performance and continuous progress by our company.
Donit Tesnit offers high-quality, environmentally acceptable products from sealing material, that were developed on the basis of our own know-how, comparative research and applicable solutions to problems with sealing, all at competitive prices and in agreement with the set deadlines. Donit Tesnit knows how to adjust to specific requirements and take into consideration the client's need to make changes. Our products are safe to use and have a long lifespan.
The company carries out a number of activities, the primary objective of which is to provide continuous improvement of the efficiency of the quality management system efficiency and continuous improvement of both products and processes. This strategy enables us to meet the requirements of our customers and increase the level of their satisfaction. Furthermore, we encourage innovative solutions with our employees. Extensive investments are made to provide employee training, making sure the workplaces are held by well-qualified, competent and motivated staff who are ready to cope with even the most demanding tasks.
We have established a regular, long-term and effective communication system with both our customers and our suppliers. The level of satisfaction in our customers is constantly being evaluated in order to take any necessary action and make systematic improvements to our products and processes. Among others, communication with customers includes an effective customer servicing system with regard to technical consultations for the proper use of our products, and a system of notification about the latest updates relevant to the client. Donit Tesnit has also put in place effective systems for communication with the environment it is operating in.
